An Internet trading account is a special type of account designed specifically for individual investors who prefer to use the Internet to place their orders themselves rather than through a broker by telephone.

Under ‘normal conditions’ orders are placed and confirmed within two (02) seconds, but it is important to understand that the time to execute an order will vary depending upon market conditions, type of order being placed, order size, internet connection etc.

a) In case of system failure affecting orders, the customer complaints received from traders and customer support are forwarded to online Helpdesk.

b) OHD checks the orders placed on KATS.

c) In case where orders are executed, the customers are informed accordingly through OHD.

d) In case where orders are not executed, OHD requests the IT department to cancel the pending orders.

e) Subsequent to cancellation of pending orders the customers will be informed of canceled orders through OHD.

Facility to change password of your trading account is available on all trading platforms i.e. Trading terminal, Web-based terminal & Mobile application.

Select the option “Settings” from the trading menu and select the options as per your convenience.

The market quotes

All securities listed and tradable on the Karachi Stock Exchange can be traded through your account.

There can be a number of reasons for your order not being executed. The order will not be executed if the share price didn’t reach the limit specified in your placed order, if you place a market order to buy a share trading at Upper Lock or to sell a share trading at Lower lock. Please note that all the orders placed at Karachi Stock Exchange are valid for a session.

PIN is used in the BUY/SELL/MODIFY/CANCEL order forms for confirming the order.

The facility to change PIN is available on all trading platforms i.e. Trading terminal, Web-based terminal & Mobile application.

Select the option “Settings” from the trading menu and select the options as per your convenience.

Trading Account ID is blocked only after three unsuccessful login attempts by user mainly due to input of wrong user id or password.

For reactivation of blocked ID, kindly email us at [email protected] along with your account number from your registered email address or call our helpline 021-111-237-111.

On receiving your request, your trading account ID will be activated in minimal time, subject to working days/hours from Monday to Friday between 9am to 5pm.
